Ambassador attended the 59 Independence celebration organised by UAE Gambian Association, Addressing the members HE ambassador Fafa Sanyang expressed his profound honoured to address the association members of UAE.
He urged Gambian in UAE and all over to unite under the theme ‘Nation First.’ This theme he claimed serves as a profound call to revisit the values upheld by our forebearers and to carry forward their visionary legacy. The Smiling Coast of Africa status is a cherished legacy inherited by us, and it is our sacred duty to ensure that the interests of our nation always remain paramount.

There are an estimated over two thousand Gambians living in the seven UAE states. Dubai being the largest concentration of Gambians residence. 

As part of the Mission’s strategy to engage and maintain a database of Gambians living in the UAE so that an efficient welfare assistance can be provided. Among others the association charman Mr Drammeh confirmed that his company employed more than ten Gambians and they have excellent relationship with their management who support this meeting hall at no cost. The Ambassador also assure the Assocation the missions full support and advised them to continue to be law abiding and work hard and best represent the Gambia.

As we have just performed the Eidul Al Adha, I do pray that Allah SWT grant us all long life to witness many, many more Eid in good health and prosperity.

My special greetings to all Gambians, friends of The Gambia and their families in United Arab Emirates.

May He, the sustainer, guardian, and protector, sustain, guard, and guide us in our lives. May he prosper all our family members, and may HE bring peace to all our sister countries, not forgetting Sudan and all countries in the world in trouble.  May the Almighty protect the Ummah from all aggressions.

His Excellency the Ambassador visited Al Qasimia University on the first of April, where he participated in honoring the winning students in the Al Qasimia University Fine Arts. Competition, and inaugurating the Ishraqat exhibition.
He also ate Ramadan breakfast

BANJUL, 31 January, 2023: The Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia to the the United Arab Emirates, His Excellency Fafa Sanyang , on January 11th 2023 presented his Letters of Credence to His Highness, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum at Qasr AL Watan in Abu Dhabi.

Following presentation of his Letters of Credence, Ambassador Sanyang conveyed fraternal greetings and best wishes from the President of the Republic of The Gambia, His Excellency Adama Barrow to His Highness, Vice President, and Prime Minister of UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the people of United Arab Emirates.
He also conveyed President Adama Barrow’s profound gratitude and appreciation to UAE.

Ambassador Sanyang gave his assurance to continue further strengthening the existing bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the areas of Education, Trade and Commerce, Health, Security and Investment.

H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed Ambassador Sanyang and wished him success in his mission to boost cooperation and friendly relations between the UAE and The Gambia.He also underscored the UAE’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the UAE and The Gambia.
